Hey,
Looking for any advise on powering a mic (Sennheiser MKH415T) that needs T-power, by a mic pre that delivers 48V phantom:
Am thinking of a circuit ...

Also, (highly optimistic..!) any recommendations for some extra long XLR or tuchel connectors that I could fashion this inside

what kind of damage can you expect if you feed Tpower to a mic that expects 48V
ie a Neumann Kmr 81

This one works just fine - I've built a few into those little neumann in-line boxes and they work a treat.

I don't know that mic, but mostly it's harmless - I'd be very surprised if T power would hurt a modern Neumann.
You could ask directly at the Neumann message board.

But don't plug your ribbon mics into T-power!
