polish v276 equivalent "WM1"
« on: January 20, 2017, 08:17:55 AM »
Hey, has anyone got any info on this preamp? It is said to me, that these are identical to the siemens v276. But the gainswitch has only 6 position (from 46 to 76dB). So there is atleast this difference. This means the whole gainstructure is probabily different, right?
Would be nice if someone has some more infos on this preamp.

OK, got the schematics.
Quite different than the original Siemens V276...
No output transformer, only two chokes instead of 4 in the V276, 7 Transistors instead of 9.
Do you think, this could sound similiar to the Siemens? Does someone know, what kind of transformer was used in the V276? Ratio?
