Hi there,
I'm looking for some linear 100k stepped pots, single and dual.
Do you know some respectable seller?
I'm talking about 2 each, not much more..

thanks a lot

There is Ebay, if you check stepped attenuator, you'll bump on those Blue Stepped att. but maybe they are all Log, but some sells them builded so you'll find what you need, it's the cheap route.
The expensive route might lead you to this:

And if you don't find anything, well buy that ebay stuff, and DIY  ;)

You're right, Zayance, this is what I did but got some log blue stepped "attenuators" but they're not really very good for my purpose, which is the AC and DC threshold controls for a 670 clone: compression starts way too far CW..
I've sourced some linear 100k dual blue stepped ladders but I thought somebody here might know of a better source.

I haven't used these yet but I just ordered one of the single decks.  Hoping it's worth it!

Too bad they got "only" 10 steps, I'd like something finer, in the 20 steps range..

If I'd took time to look closer I'd have found that the same company does also a 40 steps version of the same pot which maybe is a little too much for me..

The 40 steps might be the two decks combined.?. Maybe 20 per deck? Probably just wishful thinking.

There may be some misunderstanding here.
The Arcade Electronics thingies are potentiometers with a mechanical detent system (ratchet) that is no more accurate than a standard pot.
It looks according to the OP, that rotary switches are required; in that case, if you want more than 12 positions, there is not much choice, ELMA or the uraltone chinese stuff http://uraltone.com/kauppa/product_info.php?info=p1077_Rotary-switch--2x24.html&XTCsid=7qvbocejerk55id4lltktir5o1

Yes, I need something that is reasonably precise..
I guess I'll have to go with those chinese "valab" things they sell on ebay.
Still I can only find them in "stereo" version and not single.
Guess I'll just buy them "stereo" and use one element only.

You can always buy Shallco, which is essentially buying new production Daven attenuators.  They bought Daven way way back.

Maybe check these:

thanks, these look very cool, too bad they're only log.. will try to look elsewhere for this type of design.

Thanks but Shallco (or Daven) is too expensive (and bulky) for my need.
It's also overkill because I don't really need constant impedance "T" designs, these pots I'm looking for will not pass any signal through them.
