Hi guys, i was just curious to know what do you use for gluing components, hot glue? Silicone based glue? Some silicone are corrosive tough....
Thanks for your inputs.

It depends on the application and the materials to be bonded.

But I regularly use the following;

Permanent double sided tape (3M).
Fast Bond (3M).
Time Bond (3M).
Cyanoacrylate (Loctite for tough stuff otherwise cheaper brands).
Dichloromethane (for acrylic and styrene).
Chloroform (for polycarbonade)
Tetrahydrafureane (for pvc).
Two part epoxy (for all above).

For gluing capacitors in example

Clear RTV.  This is what we use for the industrial test equipment I design at the dayjob.  It's strong enough that they aint going nowhere, but bonding strength is such that you can get it off if you need to.

Make sure that the RTV you use is designed for Electronics.
The cheaper consumer stuff will have Acetic acid which will eat into copper traces and components.

Yes i knew that some Silicone based Glues are corrosive, what do you think of the link above?
Thanks for your input.

This one seems to be better now that you say so:
