Cool!

By the way, something you might be able to answer for me... on the 'B.I.J' hit, are the drums and most of the keyboards PPG/Wave?

they always sounded like that to me, though I never had a way to ask anyone.

Aha !!
Good ears Keef :)
Drums are Linn Drum - Rest a mixture of Jupiter 8 and PPG Wave plus a Korg mono ( MS-20 IIRC )
They never managed to fit any "Minimoog" into their stuff as it just Blew everything else away !!

:D :D :D

I'll get the album when it's released.

(This kind of music always reminds me of the carefree pretty boys dancing away at the gay discos.  When I see that kind of joy that comes from a different perspective to my own, yet so familiar as well, I feel at home in the world.)

Thanks.  Job well done.

Congratulations and good luck!

They're actually running TV commercials for the new album and the single here in Germany. So chances are quite good.

Did you work on the older Alphaville albums as well?

Good to know that the "promo" is running well
I wasn't around for the first "hits" so this is important for me !

And thanks everyone for all the encouragement - means a lot :)

Nice track. I loved the synth textures.

There is also a live version on Youtube that makes me sorry I missed the gig when you were down here.

Peter

Thanks Peter - and don't I feel like a "dumb ass" for forgetting to let you know I was coming !!

We will be back though as it went very well.

MM.

Oh Marty, you don't know how lucky you are!

Massive Alphaville fan here since day 1.

FY is unquestionably one of the most important songs ever.

Hey Marty,

Congrats Man! Listening to the promo track now, synth pop is back baby (or did it ever leave). Wishing you all the best with the the single and record.

Cheers

Matt
