That's right, the ATC. I got this guy on evilbay a while back. Custom built by the Smith-Meeker Engineering Company of NYC. It's really frickin' cool! It weighs in at just under 100 pounds!
I just started exploring it. I have no idea what its original use was. It has 8 Langevin AM16's, each with their own output attenuator. There is also an AM15, which is a phono preamp that is hard to find any info about. All inputs feed attenuators, which feed a summing network, the summing network feeds another AM16, and that feeds an Altec 351B power amp. The phono's attenuator feed the amp direct I think.
The summing box is something I've never seen before. The label is hand written, which makes me think that it could have been a one off item. It says it has a 22.3 dB insertion loss. Hence the AM16 at the tail.
