I uploaded the documentation to the PE-2600 here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=33UJ8YXK
Maybe there are some modules common to both mixers?

Hey no prob. I really dig my McCurdy mixer; good luck getting yours up-and-running.

What modules are inside?
AT242s?
I have a full manual, schematic and parts list for those.
McCurdy likes to charge people for information these days.
They don't make much equipment any more so this is a revenue source for them.

Slightly off-topic, but do any of you folks know if the transformers on those modules were made in-house by McCurdy or are they Hammonds (or something else)? Just curious.

Hammond made them for MRI in my PE-1000, in 1954. my PE-2400 is from 1964 and the transformers are made by Hammond as well.

just 'hammond' in the typical raised letters. one of them is a labeled Hammond 35507 on the schematic.

Hey, thanks for that clarification.

Also, I agree with you and Doug that the amount that they charge for scanning manuals is trivial for the amount of work involved. What's more, I've bought a couple things from them and found the guy Paul who works there an exceedingly helpful and nice fellow.

(internal photo of PE2400 attached)

The PE2400 consists of 3 types of Audio sub-assembly modules and a PSU sub-assembly module (PS2400-1).

For Archival Documentation, the modules are as follows: ( I can't supply the technical manual, but this might help a search )

M26001 is a Preamp and Mixer Amplifier
M26002 is a Program Output Amplifier
M26003 is an Oscillator
