The track's at 41 minutes. I'm sure I'll be embarrassed once I know the name. It's a fairly nihlistic punk-ish type track - could've come out any time in the last 30-odd years, although I suspect it's newer than that.

BTW - If you don't listen to Jarvis Cocker's show, now you do :) One of my favourite radio shows.

Great show - and a great station in general.

I don't recognise the track but playlists are (usually) on line - does this help?

When I looked for the playlist a few days back it hadn't been updated. It now has. The track is by the aptly titled (for here) 'Eddy Current Suppression Ring' and is called 'Through the Trees'.

One has to be grateful for small mercies - JC's show is one of them.

Have a good night, whatever you're up to Stewart!

ha - ha! Check out the band's history here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddy_Current_Suppression_Ring

Get an app called "Shazam" for whatever phone you have and it will listen and tell you pretty accurately what the song is. I had it pick out an obscure psy-trance tune and it was dead on.
