Hi everybody,

Do you have some inputs about those transformers?
Is the leakage flux really lower than traditional toroidal transfomer? Or is this some useless audiophile stuff?

thanks

And happy new year 2011

R-core transformers are better than traditional E-I core transformers, but generally less than toroidals. They are also somewhat cheaper, due to the easier winding process. When cost is an issue, they deliver 90% of the preformance of toroidals at 70% cost.
