Try the 71 Series. You might choke on them but you won't swallow them. The also come with good old quarter inch shafts.

i prefer 71's too, but i cant get shorting 71's from Farnell_Turkey, rest is a lot of tax-import problems  :(
i liked the small ones anyway, replaced 24 lorlins so far,
more on the way  ;D

I can't get shorting from Farnell UK either. I tend to use 4M7 resistors across contacts instead.

ahaaaa, thats i didnt know,
would it work on any circuit, or some limitations ?

Well they are often used in EQ circuits to ensure that all the capacitors are charged up to the same dc potential so that you don't get clicks when switching. Look at almost any Neve EQ switch and you will see them.

You cannot really use them for input switching but then you would not want shorting contacts there anyway.

4M7 ?

If I'm not mistaken, some older sountcrafts had 1M for avoiding clicks.
