Two questions actually .What is the best way to convert the instrument input to a very high impedance ,about 10 meg, so I can use that input for a piezo pup without a buffer .
is there a way to bridge the two chanells instrument inputs ?
thanks and happy x-mas to all

Hi Max,

The instrument-input of the G9 is VERY high already - in the 10M range or possibly higher. This because of the bootstrapping grid resistor configuration - the 1M does not go to ground, but to +phased signal at the cathode.

So yes, the G9 is already very good with piezos.

Bridging dosen't make sense on inputs..?

What I meant is using he preamp as a spliter , so I can plug an instrument into one chanell and get an output on both .

thanks
Max
