I did consider this some time ago...
My only solution was to use the Behringer board and re-do the front-end of it. Outputs stayed as they were. (I don't use them)
Have you read the datasheet for the mk2703?
Its designed to take a 27Mhz clock and divide it down to 44.1kHz etc
There's no reference input for wordclock (which is what you mainly have for sync In a studio)
This is a minor setback, don't give up, just bear in mind that converter design is more than just bolting up a few datasheet reference schematics
