Since Fred is a member here, I figured I'd comment on a piece of his gear I was able to test out yesterday. For those unfamiliar with this piece, here's a link: http://www.forsselltech.com/fetcode.htm
I was able to use this on two sources yesterday... a vocal track and a clean electric guitar track. It's very difficult for me to describe how a piece of equipment sounds, so I'll do my best. In short, it's very clean, airy, transparent, and elegant. It didn't really sound like other tube gear I had used in the past (which isn't all that much), but it had a bit more of an open, natural sounding high-end. This could be do to the transformerless design... ?!?
Anyway, this is a great piece gear that I can't wait to try on other sources.
