Sounds great! Is this a real orchestra?

Personally, I would put a huge reverb (with ample predelay) on the gospel Sax, but I like me a cheesy pop sound... ;-)

thanks for the comments!  i fixed the link.    It's all fake, just showing off some of my skills in the MIDI programming department.  the tenor is real though;  i'm a sax player ;)

LASS for the strings.  Fazer on the forum actually hit me up to do some string programming for a client of his.  You'd be surprised at what you can do over the internet now!

Howdy!  it's been a few months since i've uploaded a new sketch, so I did one over the past 2 days.  I have quite a backlog of these sketches, so I picked up where I left off.

March 14th, 2011 is the latest sketch!

Hope you enjoy it!

That is doubly impressive - great work!!

Do you score it out formally - as in write it in sheet music form?

yes, I sketch everything on 4 grand staves, and then later explode it to a concert score, and then sight-read each part individually into Logic with my EWI and try to perform each part as expressively as possible.  In a sense, i'm not sequencing, I'm actually recording.  I made a 3 part series on YouTube documenting the process:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBHPGa_ipic
