Hi

I´m messing around with a La-4, having lot of issues, the BD 139 & 140 Transistors run so hot, so I thought I´ve soldered it backwards.

They don´t have E-C-B names in the pins, the 139 show A0, T & Ax, while the 140 has A8 (or B I`m not sure), T and Ax pins.

I think T and Ax are C and B, but I´m not sure, could somebody confirm this?

I´ll try to make a decent photo with my phone and upload it if it could help...

Thanks Guys!

Believe me, I tried it, but it´s not so clear (for me) in the one I´ve downloaded some days ago.

Thanks for the link, I´ll take a look.

Most transistor data sheets will start out with a nice mechanical drawing of the device showing numbered pins, and then refer the numbers to internal connections in the text.
