I was looking at someone's BM6A MK-I pair that I wanted to buy, when I noticed that when pumping up the volume to a noticeably high level, there's some rattling sound which comes from the cabinet itself (either the woofer or something inside the cab). That specific unit's amp had it's power transformer replaced before. The other unit of the same pair is not 100% clean when using the same level but not as much as the other one :/ Also, when listening closely, the two units sound a little bit different in the mid frequency, being the first one is not as accurate and focused as the better sounding one. Do you think it could be defected and is it a known problem with this type of monitors ?
