hello, someone can help me to understand the differences between the equalizers with or without inductors?
I have found some schematics of the Pultec with and without the inductors and I'd like to understand the differences
Thank you in advance

In simple terms, using inductors allows peaking and dipping responses to be created. Without inductors you tend to get shelving responses.

In practice it is a little more complex than that. For example, the EQP1A for example uses simultaneous low boost and cut to create a kind of dipping response and the poor man's Pultec achieves a similar effect at high frequencies.

You can also use inductors to make non-peaking responses.

Cheers

Ian
