Yes, I know random question, but since I'm probably involved here more than any other forum I thought I'd ask!

I recently loving restored this old 60's armchair. When I bought it it was pretty trashed, I had it sanded, stained and recovered. Sadly as you can see from the first pic there was a gold trim, which I believe in technical terms is called 't molding', though I stand corrected.

I've searched for t molding, but it all seems huge as this groove is only about 1mm thin and the molding it self have a profile width of around 4 to 5mm.

As you can see it was missing a section and I'd like to replace it but have no idea where or how I'd even go about tracking it down? Any thoughts or suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks Josan,
