Just the title alone is scary , I still worry about the solder lead
Well you have to be careful around chemicals. If you can smell something, you are inhaling it.
I haven't always used the best soldering practices and after over 30 years of soldering almost daily a blood test revealed no greater lead level than anyone else. I have been ventilating for at least 20 years.
So many techs I have known are more at risk from what they willingly inhaled or ingested.
