I got it done yesterday, I hope you likie.
 
For some reason Firefox is having troubles displaying the logo.
It doesn't even appear after dumding the cache two times.

Had to change to IE to witness the whole beautiness.

Anyone else having this?

So what you're really saying is that the new logo isn't hipster friendly.

To be honest, the world is already filled with that kind of self-indulgent designer fluff.

 
I had the logo done by a professional designer.  The comment bubble simply represents the idea that we are a discussion based community. The orange accents match the orange accents on the forum (like when you hover over certain buttons)  It's simple and clean.  I like it, but I understand that some may not.  I wish I could please everyone 100% of the time, but I accept that that's unlikely to happen.

Oh OK, I see. Basically the logo's main purpose is to represent the forum and not DIY Electronics like the previous logo. It looks clean and it does blend in with the site better :)
