I had the logo done by a professional designer.  The comment bubble simply represents the idea that we are a discussion based community. The orange accents match the orange accents on the forum (like when you hover over certain buttons)  It's simple and clean.  I like it, but I understand that some may not.  I wish I could please everyone 100% of the time, but I accept that that's unlikely to happen.

Oh OK, I see. Basically the logo's main purpose is to represent the forum and not DIY Electronics like the previous logo. It looks clean and it does blend in with the site better
