Hello,
A friend has a Phonic KA720 power supply that I would like to help get going again. Problem is you push the power button and nothing happens, it has some sort of switching power supply and I am clueless when it comes to these things. I can tell its getting power in...looked for obvious things like heat marks, intermittent connections etc....
Anyone have some advice on what usually fails in these things? I can probe around and see it is getting voltage, but somewhere it gets lost....
I see some temperature protection devices bolted to the heatsinks, probably worth making sure those still work, or if they got fried and now are stopping the whole thing from getting power...cause that is what its acting like.
Anyway in help or direction would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Abe
