Could the 'attachments' section include audio files?
I think this would be a great addition to the forum, unless it is prohibitively costly.
It is kind of astounding how much is done at this forum with so little sharing of sound files!
 
The d8b forum has an embeded soundcloud soluition as well as youtube. I know soundcloud quality is questionable but it works and i dont think it eats up disk space.

I think I know what you mean.

I would put this in the same context as with Programmers versus Graphic Designers. A Graphic Designer will admire the beauty of how a website has been designed and a programmer will look at the beauty of how the code is written.

The best option would be embedding links if there is not enough bandwidth on this server.
