waiting for parts that are sitting in customs

I have been waiting for some parts from england (I reside in the USA). I am getting this feeling that this will take a while.

I don't know why exactly, but I sometimes I get parts in a matter of days sometimes weeks . I guess it depends on the backlog of stuff on their desk ATM...

Thanks for the insight. I don't know many people who have electronics shipped overseas on a semi to regular basis. It's been about a week and a half so I guess I have to just wait and see. The item was backed up before the shipping issue because sowter was waiting for some parts from one of their suppliers. Getting iron seems to be a general pain. It's expensive and takes time here in the US from both sowter and cinemag.
