Shure KSM mics, have SHURE written on one side and the SHURE "logo" on the other.... coulda used a line there lol.

OH WAIT... I get it now... I think i acutally know what its used for, no joke... its the center line between the L/R.... (dead spot i would assume like a ribbon mic)

yeah some sort of center , you can see the dots & polarity markings
Unless the dot marking are not 90 degrees it still looked funny
