Does anyone have the service manual for these?
got me one of these decks recently. It's not broken, I'd just like to study this beast. Probably the culmination of what is the c-cassette tape format in terms of sound. Performance is on par with decent quarter inch open reels.
It's also the best layout and design of any unit I've ever seen, incredible industrial high end art. Case is full copper and almost every module is compartmentalised and shielded separately. All separate amp parts are also clearly laid out separately on the PCB. One can almost read the whole design just by looking at it.
