Woohoo!

Meter distributer just called me to say they got the Sifam's for the 1176's!

Call them or go to their website soon to get some, because I think he only got like 10 (and I just got 2 of them.)

They weren't cheap-$132 for two of them with the light panel.

That is actually pretty cheap. I paid some $110 for one, the last time I got them..

Sweet...I just ordered on too! I think I just may finish my G1176 soon after all! WOO HOO!!!

You are talking about the Sifam AL29WF ? If yes i bought the one for my G1176 from Canford and paid 36,8 Euro which equals a bit more than $48. Ok the light panel isn't included in this price but this isn't much expensive, i think.
I bought this meter 1 year and 10 months ago but i can't think the price increased so much. So i guess either i was lucky or your price is quite high.
Oh this is pointed more towards Jakob. $110 is really much money. $66 with light panel is ok i guess.

This included the light panel.

I said that was expensive, but it is cheaper than buying direct from the factory

Thanks Dave-I fixed that link-two typos in one word- -that's bad even for me.

THis is my second Sfam meter

I have already bought another Sifam VU meter for about the same price a while back

This one wasn't as plasticy and had two big brass connectors on the back and was way heavy

Can you use an AL29 in an 1176 clone?
If so, we should all change our parts list to reflect this! That's a big moneysaver...

OT, but: I tried to contact meterdistributor via the email given on the site but don´t get a reply :-(

I´m interested in the following: 351-T-3½, with B-type vu-scale 152-1671

so maybe, if someone get in touch with them could ask for a price?

dunno why they dont speak to people from germany... :green:

I think they are a pretty small company-there's just one old guy and his secretary as far as I can tell. If you guys want these, let me know how many, and I'll call him and see what he can do-it's a toll-free number here in the states.

PS: PM me if I can help, in case I forget to look here...

Hey bradzatitagain. I have purchased items from KW tubes. Fast shipping and packaged well in my Instance. I am looking for more items from KW Tubes in the near future and trust his descriptions. Shipping fees were very fair also. I bought some tubes spec'd near equivalent to 6dj8's in Cyrillic. Check out tube specs at http://tdsl.duncanamps.com/ Gives Cyrillic equivalent letters and symbols. Neat reference just the same.

If you use tubes check out Duncan amps!
cool stuff!!
