Hi, I'm making a stereo pultec and can't find a dual 2k5 pot in the US.  Can I just have a fixed bandwidth by taking out the taper and adding a 2k5 resister.  Would that give me a broad bandwidth or a narrow?  What could I use for medium?
Thanks

yes

sub whatever switch is handy; 2 throw= 0 or 2k5r  or owever many positions you got, it is probably the least affecting control.

..or use a 2K2 or 4k7 pot, whatever you can find (maybe even a dual pot wired in parallel for half-resistance) - difference will only be in how wide your widest Q can be..
