Hey guys.... Thought some of you guys might dig hearing this...

Nearly everything on this was tracked throgh Classic API VP312 preamps with Whistlerock ML918 op amps...
Shadow / Serpent SB4000 compressor on the drums.
Hairball Audio 1176 Mnats Rev f... on the vocals

I think the Soundskulpter STS and the G-pultec made their way on this track too but I can't remember where....


Anyways, hope you dig it... I love my diy gear...


 
No diy mics! Dany's u87 clone will be all over my next few recordings though.


Most of this was my transformerless 57, sm57s, audix i5, rode nt1.... sahiamans little blondies might have made it on the drums, or nt5's i cant remember....

3Nity's Access 312's with Cinemag transformers, Whistlerock 2520 op amps and PSupply, Dan Deurloos case ;) on the kick, snare, overheads
Used a presonus firepod on the toms (when this track was started I only had 4 pres)

Hairball \ Mnats 1176 Rev F on the Snare.
Sound Skulptor STS on the snare
DI into Classic Api VP312 with whistlerock ml918 op amps + Sound Skulptor STS on the bass.
Guitars were almost all teles, vox ac30, sm57, classic api vp312 /w 918s
lead was a 59 reissue les paul in a di, into the classic apis, digidesign eleven plugin...
Vocals were Rode nt1, classic api vp312
Shadow sb4000 on drum bus
Synth was a nord something... into the classic apis... :) (I love classic api)
