not express, it took several Wekks/months waiting time from grandmaster-audio,
but i had the time, so it was really no problem

and a information for you, today arrived my M/S PCB from the duty administration

awesome quality ! And thnx again for your help !

Just a little question for the build:
I've seen i will need a Discrete Opamp. And you used in the Prototype some DIY DOA's
Where can i get them/the pcb/ bom ?

Hey guys, i have some problems with the DOA's

I haven't used one till now,
the problem is just i have no idea where to get them

I would also use forsells opamps, or whatever is good there
But i cant find anything where to buy them ?

Or is it maybe possible to use a 604/2604 IC with an adapter ?
Have I anything to note when i do this ?

Has anyone used this board in a Tat case? Looks like it will be a very tight fit, if it fits at all.

hey druu,

I got one and unless someone has a magic trick, it does not fit in "my" Tat case. It is 7 inches deep.
The Sontec filter boards are about 2 inches deep, and the M/S-I/O board is 5.5 inches deep.

So if we do the math, it does not fit. (7.5 inches wont fit in a 7 inches box)
I even considered inserting the M/S board between the filter boards, but the doa are too thick to fit between them.

So this has kind of forced me into re-casing my Sontec. And I figured while I'm at it I may as well go all-out and put it in a 3U case with switches

I am now on a quest for a 3U front pannel design...
But I digress...

Did some calculating and things for the switches and i come up with 21 steps which is nice becaus eon the gain you have 10x up and 10x down and step 11 = 0
I'm wondering concerning the freq switches, why is it that the high shelf switch has different values for the resistors then the other switches when you calculate them?
Is it because of the highest freq for shelf will be to high if you use the same values? step 21 is 365r with low/mid/hi but with the shelf the value is 576r.
