Hi everyone!

Recently I set up a small company on the side to fabricate high-end gear for friends and people I knew who wanted to expand their studios with professional-grade gear at a good price-point.

I know I should be finishing off my API compressor project, but that one is sinking money and not producing it, so I needed to supplement that with something else, so....

One of the first designs I am producing is a two-channel preamplifier design which is a dual-gain-stage topology based on Tamas' BigFetBloke DOA, which I've done an original single-sided layout of and CNC'ed.

I'll update progress on this project here, but here are some initial audio porn pics of the 4 DOA's to be used for the internals (they are not finished yet, just waiting on some resistors and an anti-static mat before I insert the front-end 2SK170's:

Very nice! I'm cheering from the sidelines, excited to see how it turns out with the Ed Anderson transformers.

I can't remember why I did so (create another thread), but the final thread with the result is here: http://www.groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=49341.0
