So designing a new studio. And trying to work out the best and most efficient way to do it.

My thoughts were for each of the mic lines, add a 2ru (or whatever) blank panel, and drill holes for phase and HPF.. actually probably not even phase... all my preamps have pads and phase, and those that don't i can easily just use a pad cable or something. But HPF... one of the most underrated bits of gear in a studio.

I'd seriously prefer to avoid building a big active rig if possible, if i can get away with some resistors, caps and switches, muuucchhh better solution.

Am i correct in saying this would change the loading on mics and preamps both, with possible negative effects? Or is there a way to do itpassively.
