Does anyone have any Solidworks models for a 1 or 2-space chassis? I'm proficient enough to do OK with Solidworks, but I've never really used the sheet metal features before and thought it would be way easier if I had a template to start from, especially for some best-practice insight. I've seen models at other companies, but they keep them proprietary.
I can always go down the Par-Metal route, which is fine, but I live in a warehouse district where there are like 4 sheet metal-fab shops right in my neighborhood and I'd really like to do some interesting custom work. Plus it's way easier to design panels in Solidworks so the parts and holes actually end up where they're supposed to be.
If no one has one I'll start down the road and post it here as it progresses. Thanks gang!
