SM Pro Audio AB-8 Converter Schem

I've been trying to decide upon which 8-16 line > ADAT converter, and considering this piece as an economical solution.

A nice fellow sent me a schem:

Reasoning for the increase in cost vs the Behringer ADA8000:
Most of the extra cost is in the transformers, as it is a line input isolated transformer.

Am I blind? I see op amps but not transformers..

What are opinions on the schem?

I'm trying to find out what's in this unit before contemplating any mods. Primarily trying to see what's going on behind the scenes in terms of the gain/attenuation of the inputs, but looks like that info is missing here.

The AD chip doesn't look to be of the best quality either, though I'm sure it would do the job.
