This must be done carefully as it can increase the LF bump at cutoff, where the resonance of the xfmr meets the cap. I have seen this done on purpose and mistakenly in commercial products.

FINALLY!!! The source of the noise: I had fastened the third mic-cable cable going to the capsule-center a little wrong. I now fastened it between the rubbermount and the capsule according to the equinox-video, instead of on the outher-side of the rubbermount between the two washers. This gave a good contact, and the noise is now as low as in the Wunder in all three patterns, Wunderbar!
