Need a 110v to 240v step up converter for EHX NY-2A Stereo Tube Compressor

Hi there, I have the US version of the Electro Harmonix NY-2A stereo tube compressor (hot and heavy!) and I need to use it in the UK. So I need a good quality step up converter.

I have one that I bought years ago for a mixer (cost about $25). I have no idea what constitutes as "good enough quality".

Any recommendations?

You will surely want step-down.

Look at VA rating on transformer and on unit - should tell most of the story.

Open up the unit, and see if the power supply can be wired as 220V or 240V. maybe worth a try.,
