Hi Group.
I started going through my Hickok 539B and checking the calibration.
I don't own a standard 6L6 tube. Looking around I found some for sale on Ebay.
It seems that most of these are made on another Hickok that's "supposed" to be
perfectly calibrated. I've been thinking about setting up a test fixture with regulated
supplies and current sinks to make my own calibrated 6L6 and ECC83.
Using the data sheet, and selecting good quality tubes and a few calculations,
this shouldn't be a problem. Has anyone in the group tried this.
Any info appreciated.
