The only issues I've had with the newer GL series mixers is with the power supply.  I had to replace one once.  Aside from that, no issues at all.  It's not a bad desk for the money.
 
I've used a bunch of these.  Installed a bunch and retired a few.
Good little desk.
If you are an avid DIYer, look into the schems and start replacing caps and other things on the I/O.  I believe you can improve the performance a good bit with a little bit of work.
I agree with the other posters on the PSU.  Prob the weakest part of the console.

It is a modular PCB board, so its pretty easy to do a few inputs at a time. This console is part of the line from Allen&Heath that is made in China.  So, they cut a lot of corners on some components.

I was in the process of doing that with one of my own GL2200, but decided I would never have the time.

If you have a hard time getting schems for it, let me know, I may be able to find them.
