Some months ago the reverb from my Roland RE501 failed, today I opened the box to see what's happening inside...one of the springs is not connected to anything, and other spring is only soldered by one side.

How could solder those springs?Where exactly should I do it?

Hi
very hard to fix this tank. you better get a replacement tank. search google for a suitable replacement.
cheers

The easiest , as Max wrote, would be a new tank.

It's however sometime possibles to fix these things with a lot of patience and a steady hand:

The small "lumps" on the end of the two outer springs are small magnets whitch are supposed to hang in the gaps of the transducers.
A very thin metal thread is fixed to the end of the spring, goes through the magnet "lump" and is soldered in the brass tube at the end of the transducer.

The problem is to find a suitable "hair"-thin thread and fixate it strong enough.

The connection to the middle spring you should be able to fix with some fine copper strands of wire and some solder.

Good luck!
