Forgive my ignorance, but what is the difference between the MP2 and the MP2-NV?

Hello,
NV is for Rupert design (1073), totally different from mp-2 (clean sounding).
Best regards.

For sale: 1 dual channel GR MP-2 preamp
- preamp boards are populated
- case from Modushop
- nice Frank front plate (1 mistake: 2 gain switch positions are missing)
- need psu, wiring and testing (can do this with 2-3 weeks delay; in this case, price will be a bit higher)
paid about 550EUR for these parts (without psu), asking 450EUR 400EUR.
Ok, so missing is:
-psu
- powerXformer
-pots
- In/out-transformers
?

The missing gain-switch hole. How big problem is that?

Hello G-Sun,
I can give R-core power transformer and 1 JLM ac-dc working psu for a small price.
Rotary switches (no pots) are provided (one with resistors already soldered)
Cinemag in and out transformers are provided too.
Problem with gain switch / frontplate is just a matter of looking (22 pos on front plate, 24 pos on gain switch if I remember well)
So this unit need gain switch soldering, psu, peak meter board (option), wiring and testing.
Feel free to ask more pictures and explanations if needed.
All the best.
Eric

Hm.. :)
Tempting. I have a JLM ac-dc. PowerXformer is no big deal.
Oh, I shouldn't, but..

Edit: Nice offer, but I'll pass this time.
Edit2: Pm'd  ;D
