I needed a new stereo for awhile. I found one in my neighbors driveway. After fixing the string for the tuner, I discovered the phono circuit was for a magnetic needle. That's not what I have. I looked in a few second hand stores before I found something that I liked. A Lafayette, late '70s japanese discrete components with a tuner knob that feels right, and a display I can see. I did a search on the web and found it's a bottom of the line unit, but it works for me. However, now I see ads for the Lafayette women's clothing line. I deleted all the cookies, but I still see the ads!
