I fear you'd have to work that out with China, they may hold the title to this all.... ;Druffrecords said:I was going to suggest the colony revert to Britain but I am not sure we'd want it now.

We had fraud in a local district where there were more votes for the dem candidate for town council than total people voting in the district that day. Problem was that the rep candidate had to sue the Board of Elections rather then them being investigated by the county DA. He was so broke from the campaign he did nothing.
Can't believe that only 57% of those eligible voted in 2008. It's always less than two thirds. Pathetic.

Same kind of stuff happen here in MN. Al Franken all the sudden won by I think 30 votes. Only because 3000 votes showed up 2 days later. Some where in the election Judges trunk? Seems to convenient to forget about them. I'm sure it happens the other way as well. But this is just plan silly. Our vote is to important to have it made worthless by anyone cheating the system. Specially in these very close elections. Its 2012. I would think we would have a very simple way to make the elections clean and fair. Instead they are still mess.
I'm still gonna vote because it seems like the only thing I can do.

Imagine the suffering in the swing states getting bombarded with a few $B in attack advertising.gyraf said:If enough of you voted really early, we in the rest of the world wouldn't have to suffer this circus every four years...

I remember that. The "lost" votes turned up days or weeks after the election, while the outcome was in dispute. Strangely enough, out of the thousands of votes that were "lost", every single one of them happened to be for Franken, not one for the other candidate. It could happen, right? Nothing shady there at all. And I think it was also just a mere coincidence that this seat determined who had majority rule in the senate. I still trust the system...
the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, a partner group of the United Nations, will deploy 44 observers from countries such as Germany, France, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan to observe the U.S. election amid concerns of voter suppression efforts by conservative groups.

That's a pretty shrill characterisation of the senator. Judge for yourself:
