the BOM requires 3 47uF/63V and a bunch of other 47's
how do i know which "47" slots should use the 63V's?

if it helps, i think i recall the 63V's being "phantom-blocking" caps.

thanks for the help

(btw, i feel bad bugging everybody about this stuff, is there a thread i'm not reading on this? i regularly use the search function, fwiw)

are the through holes a different distance for the two different kinds? it might be cheaper to buy a bunch of the 47uf 63vs for all of them, but this depends on the holes, also some think that the higher the voltage rating, the more deterioration in the sound.. but take that as you will.

The 3 x 47uF/63v caps are needed for Phantom blocking & Phantom smoothing. They are the 3 left-hand-most caps on the PCB.

63v caps come in different sizes, the RubiconYXF's I use will probably fit into the other holes. I dont have a PCB spare at the mo' to check.

Regards
Peter
