No, not unless they were "abused". Old electrolytics are generally not good for recycling though.

I got a lot of Philips/Mullard ECC82 tubes from a local dumpster BTW...

to make it even better....
we have a Pioneer reference/roughmixcdburner in the studio, that was giving a bit of problems lately, in short; it just died (logic section).

The output quality wasn't really highest standard so repair is not necesary but there's a cdwriter, a cdreader, power supply, etc in there.

if you want to see a picture, i'll try to get one posted today.
i'm in a session rightnow, so it may take a while...
