I've always been a huge fan of PM. I just heard Buzz Aldrin pay tribute on the news.

Aside from being an eccentric and passionate boffin of massive proportion, he once played 'Anarchy in the UK' on his Xylophone in front of the Queen :- ) He also lied about his age to sign up for the RAF and served with distinction in WWII.

89 is a decent age and he obviously had a life well lived, but I am saddened to think it's highly unlikely we will see anyone as animated and eccentric on the airwaves in future...not to mention as knowledgeable...

A true one-off has left us.

He really was a true legend in every sense of the word.

Although I havent yet heard anyone pay tribute to his days as the Gamesmaster.
