well, not so much a build thread as i blasted through the build and only took pics of the end steps...
but sure enough... turned it on and worked right outta the gates. actually used it on a session an hour after finishing it. here's some picks of the final assembly...

eq boards in ... knobs ready...

readying the case from Collective Cases...
very nice construction... just had to drill out the power switch  and file out the pilot light holes a bit.
also - do yourself a favor and mark your mounting holes (on the bottom panel) before you populate the main pcb. since i didn't do that i had to put the standoffs on and paint the bottoms of them with white paint and then put it into position to mark where the holes needed to go.

mounting the main pcb.
i had to add some height there to get the bottoms of the tanny assemblies off the bottom of the case.

sorry for the late reply!

what caps did i use?
no way i'm gonna remember that.... haha! good ones. lets leave it at that.

sound?

i have a pair of these now, and they are used on every mix, guits, kicks, snares, vocal. whatever.
super hi-fi sounding. cannot get a bad "too-EQ'd" sound out of them.

LOVE 'EM!
