Toft ATC-2 mods

I have a Toft ATC-2, stereo EQ and FET compressor in one unit. I want to add separate in/out for the EQ and compressor.

I'm pretty sure I can do it by hijacking the leads that go to the EQ bypass switch, and adding some transformers to balance the signal and possibly an RF choke.

Anyone have a schematic for this thing? I may also want to mod the EQ. The mid bands are great, but I want to change the frequencies and slope on the hi shelf. I hope it's not surface mount.

OMG why? It is almost perfect as is. Leave it alone. Just buy a cloud lifter to help out the weak preamp and use it as is. Your issue is not the eq.

I hate to say it, but I invariably choose the EQ on a 70's Studiomaster over the Toft EQ. But if the Toft EQ could be patched separately from the FET compressor, it would get more use.
