Hi all, the studio my wife works at recently just purchased this Collins mixer. It's already been modified for direct outs and works fairly well but they are trying to understand a little more about the gain staging as well as input impedance of some of the channels. We're trying to identify and the see if there might be a manual or schematics available. When it was purchased they said this model was built in the mid to late 50's. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks very much like a Collins 212A to me. I have a pdf manual for it. Here is a shot from one page of the manual.

Cheers

I believe it is a collins model 26 stereo broadcast console. They were used at WQXR, radio station of the N.Y. Times back in the day; good piece. it did not contain any periperals, just a stereo mixer.
