I must be getting old!
Last week I found a schematic showing the 202X used in the SSL 13 card. Now for the life of me I can't find it again, even searching my Chrome History.
I don't mean the 202 itself as on Gyrafs site, but the layout of the 8 2151's and the resistor packs etc.

Anyone??

I'm pretty sure that the 202X is just a low-impedance version of the (all-discrete) 202C?

..maybe you're thinking of the 202XL, 202XT or the 2002?

a bit of info here: http://www.groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=37306.0

No, definitely the 202X as per http://www.studioelectronics.biz/sunshop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1156

It's the actual layout schematic of that module which I'm after....

Well, those schemos are not identical to the 202X as they have Ec+ and Ec- in use, but it enabled me to sort out how the X version is driven.
My original problem was I had a SSL VCA card that I couldn't trim the distortion on via the Symmetry pot. Now the card had obviously had a fault on it before, as someone had removed one of the 2151's to fix it (probably noisy). Typically, it was the first one in the chain, and now I have that schematic via Harpo, it is obvious that symmetry trim is only applied to one 2151.
And which one is it? ???
Why, the first one in the chain! ::)

Not having any 2151's to hand, I just moved one from further down, and now my distortion is .022% rather than fixed at .1%.  8)
