NTP equalisers are not something I've tried before now, but a well-respected engineer recently told me to try them and I must admit that I was very suprised at what the NTP 182-100 does to the top-end.
It very definitely makes a huge difference and adds a certain something.
Whether it's the op-amps they use, or the transformers, the simple design or a combination of all those factors - it's worth having a look at.
First of all, what is the difference between the NTP 182-100 and the NTP 182-150 ?
I've found a schematic for the 150 but not the 100.
Looking back through a previous thread, I notice that someone mentioned an error on the M100 B op amp schematic on the the Gyraf.dk site. Is there a correct schematic for this op-amp around ?
Time to take a closer look at these Danish rarities !
